The BlockOut is a Holland based Krump event founded by Virgil Zaalman and Brandon Gravenberch. Both are seasoned krumpers looking to rejuvinate the Holland krump scene that has been around for a long time but never was able to develop its own stable platform.
For the most part, krump has been riding the coat tail of other dance styles to be included in events but the BlockOut is now looking to build the krump community up to survive on its own with the help of HipHpHuis (a non-profit dance foundation). Presently the BlockOut invites people from across the world to participate in battles, sessions, workshops and Q&A seminars.
The BlockOut vision is to solidify a stable core for krump dancers young, old, experienced and new, within and outside of Holland, to enjoy the benefits of krump dancing in a positive and constructive way... the BlockOut is waiting for you!
