Savage Flies
Savage Flies is a project with the primary mission of: introducing new tiers to the sport, inspiring other tiers to keep at it, and giving back to the tying community.
I have THREE goals to help achieve the mission:
1) Fly Tying Tutorials. I try to publish at least two new videos every week. Hopefully a new tier can learn a little something from each one.
2) Tips, tricks, product reviews, and fly histories. I think linking the next generation of tiers with our forefathers in the community is a great way to continue the heritage that makes fly fishing and tying such a great sport.
3) Giveaways. Sometimes there is no better way to give back to the community than simply giving back. From vises, tools and tool kits, tying books, gift cards, etc, I want to help as many people as possible enjoy tying.
