朱宗慶打擊樂團Ju Percussion Group
朱宗慶打擊樂團由朱宗慶先生於1986年成立，是臺灣第一支職業打擊樂團，也是國際上少數能融合傳統與現代展演風格的團體，廣受專業社群與社會大眾的喜愛與肯定。至今，樂團足跡遍及全球35個國家及地區，累積委託創作曲目達270首，並透過教學系統培育近15萬5千學習人口。同時，團隊陸續成立「朱宗慶打擊樂團２」、「躍動打擊樂團」、「傑優青少年打擊樂團」、「JUT打擊樂團─傑優教師打擊樂團」等，致力結合演奏、教學、研究、推廣工作，推動台灣成為世界打擊樂的發展重鎮。
The Ju Percussion Group (JPG), founded by percussionist Ju, Tzong-Ching in January 1986, comprises 16 talented percussionists and 1 composer in residence. The group devotes itself to performance, education and percussion promotion. JPG has become known worldwide for its innovative blends of the East and West, traditional and contemporary.
To date, the group has played in 35 different countries around the world, cultivating nearly 155,000 percussion learners by means of its instruction system. Besides, the group has been commissioned to create as many as 270 pieces so far. The growth of Ju Percussion Group is, so to speak, a reflection of how contemporary percussion develops on the island.
