Artward Bound
On this channel I aim to help you overcome some of the barriers to expressing and exploring your own creativity and to begin, or reinvigorate, your art journey; whether you aspire to being a full-time artist or not. Among other things, I want to help inspire you to find the “Extra” in the Ordinary!
The main focus will be on painting and drawing but not exclusively. I want to share my own and others' experience and tips to help you unlock your own inspiration and confidence, partly through examples of my own work and approaches to art and partly through interviews with other “unknown” artists I know and have shared studio space or creative time with, in Wales, Scotland, the West Midlands and other places, as the channel develops.
Born in Scotland and now returned here, I have spent time in Cornwall, southern England, the Midlands and Wales and am inspired most of all by landscape and by people. You can see more of my own work on my website here: www.christerrell.co.uk
