Pak Valery Yurievich singer, composer. Honored Artist of Russia, laureate of Russian and international competitions and festivals, laureate of the Moscow Komsomol Prize.
Pak Valery Yurievich was born in Moscow on April 8, 1957. Parents - Pak Yuri Naumovich and Chernova Angelina Nikolaevna. Parents were teachers of the Russian language and literature. Valery spent his childhood and adolescence in the city of Kentau, Kazakh SSR, where he graduated from high school and music school in the accordion class. After graduating from music school, he independently mastered the 6-string guitar and began working in vocal and instrumental ensembles in Kentau. From this period, Valery Pak's composing activity began.
Valery Pak's repertoire includes more than 700 original songs based on verses by Russian poets.
By the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of June 17, 1999 No. awarded the title of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation.
