Hello! I'm Kome from RICE LIFE. I enjoy capturing my love for VW cars and camping on this channel (though lately, it’s been mostly camping—sorry about that!).
Camping Experience
As a kid, my family took me camping often, and in 2015, a friend invited me to go camping again, which rekindled my interest. Now, I camp around 40 to 50 nights a year!
Volkswagen Journey
I’ve owned three Beetles over the years. In April 1991, I bought a 1974 model, which was unfortunately totaled in an accident six months later. I quickly got a 1967 (left-hand drive) and drove it for about 15-16 years, then switched to another 1967 (right-hand drive). I was loyal to Beetles until February 2022, when I welcomed a VW Bus Westfalia into the family.
And recently, in December 2023, I added a Jimny JA12 as well.
