"I love wood turning in that free form exists, the wood speaks, the shavings fly, and pretty soon something you really enjoy emerges from that chunk of wood you found or someone gave you.There is always hidden beauty that awaits the tool of choice, and once finished it provides joy to you and those around you who appreciate what's hidden beneath the bark.

This to me is a hobby, something to take my mind from the daily hum drum of life, you have to focus on the tool at hand and the wood you choose and are shaping, my father before me was a wood turner and i like to think i am walking in his footsteps and sharing in his experiences.
I am not a professional turner and have had no formal training, I have gained my knowledge from years of watching and admiring my dad, and other wood turners on Youtube, now it is my turn to share my knowledge and help others enjoy this craft.
