Thank you for tuning in to our honey bee channel. I’m a native of Michigan, and my journey in beekeeping began in 2015 when I purchased a small package of bees from MSU's agricultural department to improve pollination on my property.
I vividly recall that 95°F day when I picked up my package of bees.
Due to a delayed delivery, I had to install them without my bee suit, which had my heart racing. When I was done, while walking back to the house I could hear a truck rolling over our stone driveway. My beesuit arrived just a few minutes late. Luckily, I escaped without being stung. In my videos, I’ll show you how to feed, split, sell, build up your apiary & improve your honey production & most importantly of all, how to overwinter & keep your bees alive. Beekeeping can seem overwhelming, and the specialized terminology can leave you speechless with countless questions. I'll break down those intricate beekeeping terms for you. Ask me all the questions you want! Thanks for watching!
