Northern Institute of Applied Climate Science

The Northern Institute of Applied Climate Science (NIACS) is a collaborative, multi-institutional partnership led by the USDA Forest Service and comprised of Federal, forest sector, conservation, higher education, and tribal organizations. NIACS develops synthesis products, fosters communication, pursues science, and provides technical assistance to advance ecosystem climate adaptation and carbon management.
