She started her journey from rural Bengal and gradually conquered all hurdles, she is awarded Shalimar - Anandabazar 'Adwitia'. apart from being 'Adwitia, she has won a number of awards and felicitations in the field of recitation, 'Bharat Nirman Award' is one of such feather in the crown in recent times. Ishita has travelled a number of places to perform, her recent tour to Bangladesh was well acclaimed both by critics and audience of that country. Apart from being a voice artist Ishita Das Adhikary is a MBA with Post Graduation in Physics. Ishita performs regularly on All India Radio and Doordarshan.
