Awesome City Club ‖オーサムシティクラブ
Formed in 2013 in Shibuya, Tokyo, this three-member band is known for its unique musicality that mixes the members’ diverse roots, and the harmonies created by the male and female vocalists.
In 2021, they appeared in the movie "We Made a Beautiful Bouquet" and released the song "Wasurena”, which exceeded 1.1 billion streams. In that same year, they won the "Outstanding Work Award" at the 63rd Japan Record Awards and made their debut appearance at the 72nd NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen.
Subsequent works include theme songs for various dramas such as "Setting Sail ~ Modern Love Tokyo ~" for Amazon Original drama, "Iolite" for TBS Tuesday drama "The King's Finger”, and "Hikari" for the Nippon TV Wednesday drama "Neighbor Nurse Aid."
In October this year, they released the fully self-produced digital single “Sha-la Rendezvous”.
The band will celebrate its 10th year debut anniversary in 2025.
