DAVID PHOENIX is the alias of Hungarian DJ & Producer David Janecska, an artist with two decades in electronic music. Starting in 2003, he explored breakbeat and techno before diving into Drum & Bass, refining his ear for impactful records. In 2017, he returned to production, fusing techno with neuro & psy influences to craft sleek, driving grooves. Launching his DJ career under this alias in 2019, he debuted with Cybercrime on Dense Audio in 2020. Since then, he’s risen rapidly in minimal techno, with releases on Iboga Records, Set About, Alula Tunes, and more—frequently charting on Beatport. His performances span Hungary to Mexico, India, and beyond. In 2023, he launched VISION SERPENT, a label pushing quality minimal and psytech sounds. As his journey continues, DAVID PHOENIX soars ever higher, bringing his energy to dance floors worldwide.
