The Old Groat Detectorist
This channel is all about my journey with my new Metal Detector. I have had a Garrett AT Pro for about a year during 2020. With all the restrictions I have only managed a couple of gardens and one club dig. I have learnt a fair bit about the machine and this journey starts with my first permission. I hope you will join me through the lows and hopefully the highs that this hobby can through up.

March 2022 I got myself a Deus 2 then we had no rain for months so not really given it a great test. It’s good but I know there is more to come when we get some moisture. (Aug 2022)
