Hello! I’m a single, 50 something mother of six grown up children who have all left home, and in 2019 I left London to move to the countryside in Somerset, near Bruton.
Although I have spent years wanting to start a Youtube channel, in January 2025 I started filming without any preparation at all, so what you’ll see here at the beginning is very spontaneous.
In this weekly lifestyle vlog, I share my love of the 'Rare Birds' in life: books, food, interiors, art, fashion and fabulous female friendships, but nothing is perfect here because I share my neuroses too. More than anything, I want to make life more enjoyable and celebrate the good things (this sounds disturbingly like a dating app profile - there might be some of this in my vlogs too).
