Nice to meet you, this is Tamaya Medaka.
It has been about 20 years since I moved to the Tama area of Tokyo. 17 years of medaka breeding history.
Fascinated by the Tama area and medaka breeding, we opened Tamaya Medaka.
From the spring of 2021, we are preparing to sell medaka fish. Despite the recent boom in killifish, I have liked killifish since I was a child and started breeding them in earnest around 2003. Riding on the medaka boom, I thought it was a good opportunity to convey the appeal of medaka breeding to many people, not just self-breeding, so I decided to open a medaka shop.
However, I would like to have fun raising medaka fish. I would like to enjoy medaka while valuing life without becoming too business.
