Islamabad Live Stock Farm (ILF)
We are trying to make Goat Breeding an industry in Pakistan, working on both variants of Beetal (1) Amritsari or Faisalabadi and (2) Makhi Cheeni. Goat Breeding is all about experiments and learning on daily basis. We started with a base flock of 100 goats, 50 of each variant and now we have our home breed now.
We are trying to produce a breed for minimum 5 litre of milk per day. As of now we reached an average of 3.5 with some goats producing 6 Litres as well. Meet Breed is our next target.
We are one of the very few farms in Pakistan which really rely on the science and international research to burst the myths of local farmer.
