I'm Christine and Buying Thyme is my micro-flower farm in Southern Ontario.
It has been an evolution to get here and there has been a lot to learn about flower farming and growing at a scale larger then our urban rental plot had, but I can't wait to show you how to grow and work with the flowers that I have been harvesting. And Native Plants! We cannot forget those! Dahlias' and zinnia's are beautiful, but celebrating the charm of our southern Ontario native plants in both landscape, and flower design applications is what I bring to you.
Located on the border of North Oshawa and serving the Durham Region in Southern Ontario, my micro flower farm offers locally grown, seasonal blooms that bring the beauty of nature into your everyday life at a self-serve flower stand. I create floral arrangements that reflect the unique charm of each season. I grow with a focus on sustainability and connection to nature, while incorporating as many native plants in my designs as possible.
