Dedico questo canale a tutti coloro che, come me, sono nate in Libia o che vi hanno vissuto per qualche tempo. Nel 1970, a causa di eventi ostili, siamo stati costretti inopinatamente ad abbandonare questa terra, che amiamo e che sentiamo ancora un po' nostra, e a disperderci in diversi paesi insieme ai nostri figli e ai nostri nipoti. Ringrazio tutti coloro che, inviandomi le loro storie, le loro testimonianze e le loro creazioni artistiche contribuiscono a conservare il ricordo di quel nostro piccolo grande mondo.
I dedicate this site to all those who, like me, were born in Libya or who have in the past lived there for some time. In 1970, due to events outside our control, we were unexpectly forced to abandon this land that was home to us and still now is a part of us. We left, both young and old, in a worldwide diaspora. Thanks all those who, sent me their testimonies, both written and vocal, and by so doing may help preserve the memory of what was our small, beloved world.
