Sri Nisargadatta - The Absolute Essence
Nisargadatta Maharaj (17 April 1897 – 8 September 1981), born Maruti Shivrampant Kambli, was an Indian guru of nondualism, belonging to the Inchagiri Sampradaya, a lineage of teachers from the Navnath Sampradaya .
He often stressed the importance of being aware of one's own existence, expressed in the phrase "I Am." This awareness of being is considered the fundamental aspect of our true nature.
Nisargadatta Maharaj's teachings are considered a blend of Advaita Vedanta and non-dual philosophy. His emphasis on direct experience and self-realization has resonated with many seekers on the path of spiritual inquiry and self-discovery.
