Dave Good Sax

Welcome! My name is Dave, and I teach adult learners how to play the saxophone. Most all of my students and subscribers here on Youtube are adults coming back to the horn. Many of you have little or almost no time to practice, so I record content with that in mind. I do my best to keep it simple yet effective. Whether you play alto sax, soprano sax, tenor sax, baritone sax, or all of the above, what you will find here are sessions culled from my years of playing on bandstands or from my studies with sax legends such as Joe Marillo and Daniel Jackson. We’ve formed a global community here, you and I, which is all about the 40 and above crowd, sax students who are coming back to the horn or are bucketlisting their way into community concert bands, big band jazz, blues jams, jazz combos, or maybe just sitting in on Saturdays with that guy up the street who has a yacht rock band.
