Kyoto University Inamori Foundation Joint Kyoto Prize Symposium
The Kyoto University-Inamori Foundation Joint Kyoto Prize Symposium (KUIP) is an annual international symposium hosted by Kyoto University in cooperation with the Inamori Foundation, has been held since 2014.
The award was conceived by Dr. Kazuo Inamori, fomer president of the Inamori Foundation, as a means to contribute to the advancement and development of humanity. In 2014, Kyoto University launched the Joint Kyoto Prize Symposium as an annual event with the aim of raising international awareness of the award.
Since 2018, the KUIP Symposium has focused on the outstanding field of the main presenter, who is the laureate of the Kyoto Prize.
