Back in the day, we used to call decks 'the 1's and the 2's', or, 'the wheels of Steel'. I call them 'a pair of 1210's', or, 'a pair of Technics'. The 'and' in 'the 1's and the 2's' is the mixer so what it really means would be 'turntable 1, mixer, turntable 2'. As for the 'wheels of Steel', it is said in tribute too there bullet proof reliability. And yes I am handy enough on 'the 1's and 2's' 💿💿💿
