History
The 1st video of Men in Coats on YouTube was from a dutch show called Raymann is Laat. Originally this clip was on one of the early video hosting sites called putfile which was around before YouTube existed... yes there was life before YouTube! It gained around 9 million views which was a lot at that time and was one of the most watch videos on the site.... Then a German guy put a copy up on the newly formed YouTube and it went crazy. 60 million hits and it stayed in the top ten most watched comedy videos for the whole of that year.
Unfortunately due to the way YouTube works Men in Coats have never made a single penny from YouTube but despite this it is comforting to think how many people have had an opportunity to see what we do
