“Kobo” is a woodworking workshop.
I moved from Tokyo to the mountains and built my own workshop. I was convinced that there was freedom in a mountain village.
I am a furniture maker, but now I make speaker boxes, canoes, and other things that I think are good, and am supported by people who share my passion.
Speaker boxes were the beginning of my woodworking career; I saw the JBL Paragon and was influenced by its childlike design.
