Helplessness is a trait that is inherent to all living beings. One cannot predict the time, place or duration of unfortunate events. Regardless of the way you look at it, being helpless is always a sorrowful experience. Whether it be a human or an animal, living life enduring such helplessness and sorrow is always a great challenge. To help such individuals overcome such difficult times and challenging situations, we ask you to tap into your inner humanity.
Reflecting on our teacher the Supreme Gautama Buddha, who descended from the realms of heaven to spread the words of wisdom, boundless love and kindness, to all beings on earth. We too shall take up the task of helping the helpless in honour of his teachings, and fulfil our duties towards humanity.
