Dave & Christy

Aloha 🌺 we are middle-school sweethearts from New Jersey and moved to Hawaiʻi for university in 2016. Dave graduated in the Spring of 2020 with a BA in Environmental Studies from HPU and captains for sailing charters out of Waikiki. Christy graduated in the Spring of 2023 with a MS in Microbiology from UH Mānoa and is a research specialist. We bought a 1977 Pacific Seacraft 25' early-2020 and refitted her into an emission-less sailing vessel. A year later, we purchased an outfitted 1988 Catalina 34' and sailed around Oʻahu and Maui County with our dog, Porter. We recently purchased and moved on to our dream blue water cruiser "Ciao Bella", a 2007 Tayana Vancouver 460 Pilot House, designed by Robert Harris and built at Ta Yang in Taiwan. Sailing was and continues to be the greatest investment we've made in ourselves. Join us as we sail around the Hawaiian archipelago, and beyond! Mahalo nui for your support.
