YouTube is my main social media. I've been a viewer since the beginning. Until now I have just uploaded home videos to share with close family and friends. I did not feel as if I fit the cookie cutter creator that has been popular for so long now. It kept me from posting anything else. Now I am feeling a shift. I can see a vision of what YouTube can be. I miss the style of what it was in the beginning. It wasn't exactly aesthetic and everyone was exploring all the possibilities of what it could be. There wasn't a strict guideline to what a video needs to look like to get traction and be pushed in the algorithm. You didn't have to stick to a niche.
That's what I would like to get back to. I have a different vision of how shorts and the community tab can be used. I also want to share videos from other creators in a playlist.
