Tyler Mendelson is an American film director, born and raised in New York.
At the age of 18 in 2010, Tyler followed one of his lifelong goals and joined the United States Marine Corps. In 2012, he deployed to the Helmand Province in Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, and later attained the rank of sergeant. He completed his military service in 2017, having served both on active duty, and in the Reserves. After his time on active duty, Tyler pursued his other dream, film directing, attending Emerson College and obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Film Production in 2018.
