Museum Society of Mumbai

The Museum Society of Mumbai (formerly the Museum Society of Bombay) was established in 1963 so as to broaden the base of public interest in the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu San-grahalaya and to stimulate curiosity in the spheres of art and culture. Under its Chairperson and Executive Committee the Society partners with various organizations to organize lectures by eminent scholars, cultural tours, workshops, seminars, activities ,etc and to make the museum accessible to all via events held within the space of the museum or extramural event.
