We are a family of six, relocated to Panama.
I used to be on my own and thought I'd never get married or have kids. In 2009 I packed up and moved out to Hawaii where I lived for eight years before I met my wife, Sylvie. She was also on a journey of her own, which brought her to Hawaii from Slovakia.
We saw the world in many of the same ways, and decided to take off on an adventure together, Sylvie writing for a magazine, while I took photos, traveling to many wonderful locations until we became pregnant with our first daughter. The timing couldn't have been more right.
Eventually we left Hawaii to live in Slovakia and Hungary for a year, then moved to Nevada near Lake Tahoe for five years. Now we've relocated to Panama, where we bought a house and birthed our fourth daughter. As a professional photographer, I've been documenting our journey.
We may not have the standard image of success that some may strive for. But what we do have, is time for our family, time for our life.
