Ram Sambamurthy
DAS or Dagooc Arnis System is Grand Master Rodel Dagooc's arnis system. GM Rodel studied arnis under GM Remy Presas while he was still living in the Phillipines. GM Rodel (as of 2015) has been an arnisador for 50+ years and is Lakan Siyam or 9th dan black belt.
GM Rodel was nicknamed Smoking Sticks by his Australian students due to his speed with the arnis bastons. He is still very fast today as you can see in some of his moves in the videos.
We train at the Chinese Garden, Rizal Park, Luneta, Manila on Sunday mornings between 8 - 10 a.m.
