I've been fishing since I was knee high of a grasshopper and still suckling milk, it's in my blood. I'm a Torres Strait Islander and my people have forever been fishing and seafaring saltwater people, so I always feel at home when I'm out fishing. The Torres strait is a small island group from Northeast Australia. this is also where the word BALA comes from. BALA translates to BROTHER in English, and that's where the channel gets its name from Bala.Eddies.Fishing!
