Justice Information Resource Network

Justice Information Resource Network

The Justice Information Resource Network (formerly known as the Justice Research and Statistics Association) is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to the use of nonpartisan research and analysis to inform policy and program decisions. We are comprised of a network of researchers and practitioners throughout government, academia, and the justice community. At the core of this network are the directors of the state Statistical Analysis Centers (SACs), which are units or agencies at the state government level that use information from all components of the criminal justice system to conduct objective analyses that inform policy and practice at the state and local levels.

Our mission is to promote the effective and efficient administration of criminal and juvenile justice through the objective analysis of data and the dissemination of research that informs policy and practice.
