Rose Collection (and Other flowers)
Welcome to my rose garden!
We are in USDA zone 7A, where temperatures are moderate (an average of around 11°C annually, with 8 to 14 days of temperatures below -5°C).
Since 2021, I’ve planted 101 roses, with the exception of two red climbers that have been in the garden for over 60 years. With their beautiful colors, shapes, and delightful fragrances, roses truly reign as the queens of the garden. Additionally, they are exceptionally easy to grow. Roses are hardy, tolerate heat and drought, and can easily endure temperatures as low as -10°C.
Most of my roses are remontant (repeat-flowering) and fragrant.
I have a particular fondness for English roses by David Austin, and I currently grow 32 of them in my garden. These roses, known for their classic beauty and captivating scents, are among my favorite varieties.
