Using Oil Pastels in my First Layers

This is still my first layers because I have a lot of the white page showing…adding lots of mixed media with my oil pastels. I debated whether I should post this video because I was very low energy and struggling to be in beginner’s mind..but i think it’s a good illustration of sometimes, we just have to show up. And I’m glad I did because I love the way my spread transformed! Please Note: Even though I don’t have to allow my page to dry longer when incorporating oil pastels in my first layers, I sometimes have to work in shorter periods of time. The important thing is to play, experiment and have fun and find out what works best for you!
