In this series, I will briefly discuss the energy of each 'nakshatra' every day, following the Moon through his journey across the sky around the Earth. In each video I will talk briefly about the 'nakshatra', its energy, its significance and also how planetary placements here influence your life and what they guide is towards. This video is about the nakshatra of 'Uttarabhadrapada' which is the 26th 'nakshatra' out of a total of 27 and what its energy is like. ABOUT UTTARABHADRAPADA NAKSHATRA: The pair of Purva and Uttara Bhadrapada are both ruled by the energies of one of the 11 'Rudras'. Uttarabhadrapada is ruled by 'Ahir Budhnya' who in a very simplified interpretation represents 'water snake' and at a deeper interpretation, 'kundalini' energy or energy from the depths of the Earth. The totem animal is the cow. The 'shakti' here is the 'power to bring about rains' or the power to manifest prosperity. First of all, let's understand that 'Bhadrapada' means: 'Bhadra' literally means 'auspicious' or that who/which brings welfare. 'Bhadrapada' is the 6th month in the Vedic calendar. So both the nakshatras in this pair seek to bring about welfare or auspiciousness but in their own respective fashions. The 'Purva' section as in the earlier part of 'Bhadrapada' covered in 'Purvabhadrapa' is a more active 'yang' energy. This is the more active one of the two 'nakshatras' in this pair. 'Uttarabhadrapada' is that part of this pair where the energy is more giving and soft in nature. It can be very powerful but mostly it is quite laid back and easy going. In the 'Bhadrapadas' esp. 'Purvabhadrapada, the energy of the 'Rudras' are more benevolent to the native albeit with the condition that they use them for the benefit of others. In 'Uttarabhadrapada', since the involvement of Saturn comes in, who is the planetary ruler of this 'nakshatra', the energy here is one of creating big shifts but not in the action oriented outward focused way but more so in the form of introspective, stabilized and immovable force that 'takes a stand' or resists aggression/fluctuations from the flow of life. This energy may very well be associated with the energy of 'Sheshnaag' who is the protective entity accompanying Lord Vishnu. That's interesting now because 'Sheshnaag' is associated with 'Ashlesha' nakshatra which was the birth nakshatra of Lord Lakshmana, the younger brother of Lord Rama and also an incarnation of 'Sheshnaag' himself. How do we explain that then? Well, 'Ashlesha' represents more of the physical behaviors of 'Sheshnaag' such as protectiveness, aggression and 'ability to inflict poison' (quite often through just their speech and words! Someone knows what I'm talking about. Lol) and 'Uttarabhadrapada' encapsulates more so the transcedental energy of the 'Sheshnaag' such as spiritual wisdom, power to create huge change, power to create stability, loyalty and deep knowledge. Do note here that 'Sheshnaag' is also known as 'Dharti-dhar' i.e. the one who carries the Earth. Watch the video to learn more about this placement. I would encourage viewers to have a healthy and spirited discussion in the comment section so that we can expand more/ share more on this topic. Please be informed that miscreants, trolls and impolite, uncivil individuals shall be blocked right away. I have no tolerance for nonsense. This is serious stuff that I have spent my life researching and studying and I expect the same if not more level of reverence for this knowledge and what it can mean for you in terms of the achievement of your destiny and 'moksha'.
