👋Good morning, Uzbekistan, good morning, my friends!
Today we are climbing the mountains together with an old acquaintance and, one might say, colleague - Mahmut-aka and his shepherd friends.
Well, I put on my shepherd's chapan again, which had changed a lot after washing.
Men graze sheep in the mountains for up to ten days, then take turns returning to the village to rest.
Mahmut-aka is fond of horse racing and keeps several stallions for this. In general, horses are often saddled to transport sheep or simply to climb mountains. I also played as a horseback rider and rode along the slopes, admiring the beautiful views.
Today the shepherds' wives came to the mountains. The men slaughtered the sheep and moved everything to a small warehouse where food is stored. I was surprised when I found dried apples there.
Shepherds say that the most difficult time in the mountains is from December to March. In cold weather, you also need to protect livestock from wolves.
While talking, she showed and played to the shepherds on the jew's harp donated by her sister. My friends liked the instrument so much that I left it for them as a souvenir.
We are invited to treat ourselves to aromatic shurpa and hot tandoor flatbreads; the owners have prepared liver and fat tail. Everything is as always, very tasty and satisfying.
The day in the mountains seemed to me one of the most pleasant.
I admit, the journey by taxi and associated transport took a lot of time and hit the pocket.
Of course, I’m not going to abandon my trips, because by revealing wonderful, hardworking people to the world, telling their stories and customs, I unite not only the residents of Uzbekistan. Look how many kind comments subscribers from different countries write to my heroes!
I hope and believe that there will be sponsors ready to support me, so that you and I can hit the road again and again, my friends!
