Scissor Manohar is a comedian and actor who started his career as a production assistant for the film Puthiya Vaarpugal in 1979. He got the nickname "Scissor" for his role in the movie Gokulathil Seethai in 1996, where he introduced himself as "Scissor Manohar" in a conversation between Suvalakshmi and Karan. Since then, he has acted in more than 240 Tamil language films and is known for his comedic performances. Some of his notable roles include in the films Vindhai (2015) and Kadikara Manithargal (2018).
