On January 18, 2025 Lama Choedak Rinpoche at the request of Sakya Friends gave the first part of explanations of the Vajrapani Bhutadamara sadhana. The teachings were hosted, translated and live-streamed in 7 languages by Sakya Friends.

Details about Vajrapani Bhutadamara practice:
This highest tantra practice was described in the text of explanatory tantra to Hevajra called the Vajrapanjara Tantra. It comes from the Indian Pandita Trailokyavajra and was practiced by the founding fathers of Sakya Lineage.
Benefit of the practice:
This Vajrapani practice brings great accomplishmentsand spiritual attainments that are both common (applicable in our daily life) and supreme – related to achieving enlightenment. Additionally, all the great Sakya teachers have advised this practice to their students before entering any retreat.

Event will be organized in the Maitreya temple in Kathmandu for the auspicious start of the Days of Miracles and Losar - the New Year according to the Tibetan lunar calendar.
On March 8 (Saturday) H.E. the 26th Chogye Trichen will bestow the empowerment of Namtöse (Vaishravana, the wealth deity in Vajrayana Buddhism) at Maitreya temple in Boudha, Nepal.
