Kids love munching on nuggets! So I am sharing today a recipe of how you can make Veg Soya Nuggets at home very easily. These Veg Soya Nuggets can also be frozen and kept for later use just like the Veg Soya Nuggets you get from the market.
These Veg Soya Nuggets are make with soya chunks which makes them rich in protein too!

Recipe :
Veg Soya Nuggets
Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Serves: 3-4
Ingredients:
2 cups soya chunks
1 large boiled potato, grated
3 tbsp ketchup
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp black pepper powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
3 tbsp cornflour
4 cups veg stock
1 tsp soya sauce
1 tsp vinegar
For coating:
¼ cup flour
1 cup bread crumbs
Oil to fry
Method:
Boil the soya chunks in stock, soya sauce and vinegar for 4-5 minutes. Drain, squeeze lightly and grind coarsely.
Add all the remaining ingredients and bind to a dough. Shape into nuggets.
Add 1 cup water to the flour to make a slurry.
Dip the nuggets in the slurry and roll in the bread crumbs.
Rest the nuggets for 10 Minutes.
Fry the nuggets in medium hot oil to a crisp golden colour.
Serve hot!
