Today I tear apart a 3.5L VQ35HR from a 2007 Nissan 350z. This engine, unlike most of the engines on this channel, was from a VERY wrecked car and suffered massive damage as a result. I tear this down to discover what made it, what didn't and the extent of the damage.
My name is Eric and I own and run a full service auto salvage yard and part of our model is selling good parts off of bad engines. I get these bad engines from other salvage yards, or they are my customers old engine after they bought a new one from me. We salvage as many good parts from these engines as possible and the rest get scrapped in their appropriate material bins.
