This seems like a decent 2 quart ice cream machine with a built in freezer that will get to -20 to -30 and will make a batch in around 50 minutes to a soft serve consistency then you have to run it in cooling only to really harden the ice cream if that is your preference. This unit has a dial so it is quicker to adjust the time. These can be used for other cooking tasks that require chilling but it is meant for ice cream so always runs the freezer at full power.
