This video was created to help others upgrade the 3/4 hp brushed motor to a 1 hp high performance servo motor.
There is a lot required to make the servo motor fit this Vevor due to all the short cuts this manufacturer takes. Yes it is true that this lathe sells for a lot less then lathes of the same size and with the needed design changes. Thing is, when I consider time and materials to bring this lathe up to a usable level: It would actually cost less to buy that better lathe. Do I have one to suggest in this size? No I do not but maybe review/consider the little machine shop or toolots.

This is not a bolt on kit as it still requires the machine work seen in this video.
This is prototype 2, if needed we will remove the parts off the demo machine and sell them to you. We will make more. This is because each time we make them we make them better.
The intent was to offer a bolt on kit for this lathe. Unfortunately and due to the design
of this lathe, we cannot create a reasonably priced bolt on kit for this machine. still if you have this lathe already, the conversion to our servo motor is a huge improvement.
We do have a black box built in control unit. That kit will be available around the end of 2023.
