Bún Nước Lèo - A specialty in Va Trinh and a Khmer people dish. This murky broth, is a labor of love. Made from various sea food and river animals, cooked, and then left to ferment. This broth with take you for a ride which you have never experienced before. A one of a kind bowl of noodles.
Cồn Chim Island
Bánh lá - A traditional cake in Vietnam made from rice flour and steamed on top of a leaf. This little snack is best enjoyed dipped in a coconut sauce.
Cá Lóc - A fish enjoyed all over Vietnam, but we enjoyed from the farms of this island, they are truly special. Meaty, sweet, and oh so delicious.
Gà nướng đất sét - What I do believe to be a Chinese influenced dish. This is made from wrapping a chicken usually in lotus leaves, then clay. Put underground and then cooked for 3-6 hours. The slow cooking process, results in an ultra juicy chicken.
Lá sương sâm - Simple, just some elbow grease, water, and this plant can make a special afternoon snack that is loved. A great way to fill your stomach and cool down from the hot weather.
