Mahadev narrates the story of how the demoness Suraseni tricked Kashyap in expanding her army of demon children. The demon children later got a boon from Mahadev himself and as per the boon, only Kartikeya can defeat them. Inder Dev needs help to save his child so he has asked for Mahadev's help, but since he cannot do anything, Kartikeya steps up and decides to save the son of Inder Dev.
