ADC(Analog to Digital Converter) and SENSOR interfacing with FPGA using SPI Protocol || working verilog code.
This tutorial explains how different hardwares can be interfaced with FPGA board. Here I have used a temperature sensor(LM35) and onboard Analog to digital converter (ADC) from linear technology for interfacing with SPARTAN 3E FPGA board. This tutorial gives the complete details about Temperature sensor working principle and ADC working principle and it's interfacing with FPGA using SPI protocol. I have also provided the working verilog code and it's result using XILINX chipscope pro debugging tool.
