Dr. Van Haitsma graduated from Calvin College, earned a master’s degree in exercise physiology at Indiana University and a doctorate in exercise physiology at the University of Utah. His expertise includes human physiology, exercise physiology, human performance, and clinical exercise physiology. His research interests focus on exercise-induced fatigue, both immediate and long-term, chronic fatigue syndrome, and how the mind affects human performance.
