石川県の白峰の町並みを散策いたしました。日本屈指の豪雪地帯ということもあり、本格的な雪景色を体験することができました。
【Shiramine Village】
Shiramine Village in Hakusan City, Ishikawa Prefecture, is one of the areas with the heaviest snowfall in Japan. As a result, there are many houses with unique architectural styles that are strong and resistant to the snow. These include houses with large ochre walls and long vertical windows, and houses built with earthen storehouses.
In 2012, the Agency for Cultural Affairs designated the area as an Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings.
