The key to elevating art lies in strategically using less, specifically by utilizing negative space (the empty area around the main subject matter of an artwork). I’m not telling you how to create your art, but I am telling you negative space is a powerful tool that can create focus, depth, and complexity within your art.
So if you feel like your work is missing something, negative space may be the most POSITIVE step you have taken yet.
