Trying to get the top off of some taps can be a real headache. Once the brass collar has rounded off it seems impossible to undo. Here are some of the ways to get those taps sorted.

Have been advised about the tap splitter set, but it is way too expensive for the odd tap. You could buy a new set of taps for the price. Good for plumbers who are fixing taps all the time though.
